These companies use non-personally identifiable information (e.g., click stream information, browser type, time and date) and your barcode information during your visits to provide offers likely to be of greater interest to you. Target will use the information it collects to personalize the Cartwheel experience. In addition, Target will match the information it collects with information that already exists within Target's internal databases including your purchase history, your accounts across all Target channels (e.g. Target.com, Gift Registries, Target mobile web site)

Depending on the privacy settings you select when first logging in to Cartwheel, action you take within Cartwheel, like adding an offer to your list of saving in store, will be published to your Facebook friends' news feed. For example, if you choose to share your Cartwheel activity with 'Only Me', the activity will generate to your Facebook timeline and only you will be able to view it. If you select 'Public', anyone viewing Cartwheel activity on Facebook will be able to see your activity.
We may share aggregate level information (information that does not identify you personally) with business partners/third parties who participate in the Cartwheel program to help them understand how their product offer(s) performed. We may also share aggregate level information with business partners/third parties for their own analytics, reporting, and other purposes.
We may share information with companies that provide support services to us or that help us market our products and services. These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions.
These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

You have to option to customize the sharing of information from Cartwheel.

Under California law, California residents who have an established business relationship with Target may opt out of Target disclosing personal information about them to third parties for their marketing purposes. Under California law, third parties include members of the Target Family. If you do not want Target to disclose information to other companies for their marketing purposes and you do not want to receive marketing from Target, please call 800-440-0680 to opt out.
We recognize the particular importance of protecting privacy where children are involved. We are committed to protecting children's privacy. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children under the age of 13. If a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we ask that a parent or guardian contact us or call 800-440-0680.
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. This includes encrypting your credit and debit card number.
'Phishing' is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an e-mail that looks like it is from us asking you for your personal information, do not respond. We will never request your password, user name, credit card information or other personal information through e-mail.
