Do I need a Facebook account to join?
No, not anymore! You now have the option to sign in to Cartwheel with your email (or existing profile). If your email address doesn't already have a profile on, you will need to create one before signing in to Cartwheel. If you prefer to use Facebook to sign in, you still can! Facebook lets you connect and share offers with your friends, and it helps us give you a more personalized experience. What is shared on Facebook and how can I control it?
When signing in with Facebook, based on the privacy settings you select actions you take within Cartwheel (like adding an offer to your list or saving in store) will be published to your Facebook friends' news feed. For example, if you choose to share your Cartwheel activity with "Only Me", the activity will only generate to your Facebook timeline and only you will be able to view it. If you select "Public", anyone viewing Cartwheel activity on Facebook will be able to see your activity. Your privacy settings in no way impacts your ability to save with Cartwheel at Target, and we will never post anything without your permission. I previously used Cartwheel with Facebook, but now signed in with email instead. Can I sync the two profiles, so all of my savings, badges and spots appear in my new Cartwheel profile?
Yes, you may merge multiple Cartwheel accounts into one profile. Merging accounts may only be initiated at (not the iOS or Android apps), although the merged accounts will be reflected across all Cartwheel experiences (on the website and the iOS/Android apps). To merge accounts, go to, and log in with your preferred sign-in method. Click on "total saved" in the upper-right hand corner of the page, then click on "Settings" in the drop-down that appears. On the "Settings" page, under "add accounts", click on "Select Account" and follow the instructions. When multiple accounts are merged into a single profile, the total savings will be added together. The badges earned will be retained, but will not be duplicated. For example, if one account has earned the Big Saver badge, but the other account has not, the Big Saver badge will be unlocked in the single profile. However, if both accounts have unlocked the Big Saver badge, you will still only have one badge unlocked (e.g. you will not have two Big Saver badges). Also, only one Facebook account is allowed per profile, although multiple accounts can be merged into a single Cartwheel profile.
How can I access Cartwheel?
You may access Cartwheel from your desktop or mobile browser at, or download the apps from the App Store or Google Play.
How do I add an offer?
You may add an offer to your Cartwheel anywhere an offer card appears! Find an offer you want in your Cartwheel activity feed, on a friend's Cartwheel, or if you're looking for something specific just search or browse our categories. Once you find an offer that you'd like to add, simply tap the offer to expose the "add" button. Click "add", and the offer will be added to your list. It's that easy!
How do I redeem the offers I find on Cartwheel?
First, add your favorite offers to your Cartwheel. You'll know when an offer is on your Cartwheel when a check mark appears on the offer. When you're ready to purchase your items at a Target store, you may either print your Cartwheel barcode from your desktop at home, or use the app on your smartphone. When checking out, present your barcode (located on the "My Cartwheel" screen in the app or your printed barcode) to the cashier just as you would any other coupon. The cashier will scan your Cartwheel barcode and you'll automatically receive your savings on all of the Cartwheel offers on your list! Although your "total saved" with Cartwheel will no longer show up on the screen at checkout, your receipt and Cartwheel account will show your Cartwheel savings.
Where can I redeem my savings?
Cartwheel offers are only valid in U.S. Target stores. Cartwheel is not available for redemption on or Target Canada at this time.
How can I manage my Cartwheel list?
Manage your Cartwheel list from anywhere -- from your desktop at home, Android device in store, iOS device on the bus. We'll automatically update any adjustments you make across all versions of the Cartwheel experience. Add and remove as many offers as often as you'd like.
How many offers can I have on my Cartwheel?
You get 10 spots automatically just for joining Cartwheel. From there, you can earn additional spots by unlocking Cartwheel badges. And, if you sign up with Facebook, you'll have the option to earn additional spots, since you'll have the chance to interact with Friends and earn badges that way. (Hint: Check out the Badges page to learn more about unlocking them.)
Why did that offer on my list disappear without me removing it?
If you can't find the offer on your Cartwheel, it's probably expired. Expired offers are automatically removed from the offer catalog, search results, and your Cartwheel list. Or, you possibly removed an offer that was labeled "limit reached" from your list. These offers, once removed, do not appear in search results and cannot be re-added to your Cartwheel list.
How do I change my Cartwheel login?
If you use Facebook to sign in to Cartwheel, you can change your username and password by updating your Facebook profile username and password. You may do this from your Facebook settings. If you used your email to sign in to Cartwheel, you may update this info on your account page at

How do I remove or delete all of my Facebook profile information, including friends and basic profile information, from Cartwheel?
You may deauthorize or delete your Facebook profile information from Cartwheel by going to the App Center in Facebook. When logged in, go to Account Settings and select "Apps". Find "Target Cartwheel" in your list of authenticated apps and click the "X" next to Edit. This will deactivate or delete your Cartwheel account.
How many Cartwheel offers can I redeem at one time?
You may redeem all the Cartwheel offers on your Cartwheel list at the time of your transaction. For example, if you have 10 offers on your list when you scan your barcode at a Target store, and you're purchasing items tied to all 10 offers, you'll save on all 10 items. If you've unlocked additional spots on your Cartwheel, you will save on all the offers you have room for in your Cartwheel at one time.
How many times per day can I use my Cartwheel list at a Target store?
You can save on your entire Cartwheel list up to 6 times per day.
I click on the Facebook login button, but nothing happens. What next?
Check your browser preferences to see if pop-ups are blocked. If they are, turn your pop-up blocker off (so that pop-ups are enabled) and then click the Facebook login button again. The Facebook login window should now appear.
Can I use Cartwheel with my REDcard?
Yes, you can use your REDcard on top of your Cartwheel offers!
Can I use Cartwheel offers and other coupons in the same transaction?
Yes! You may stack your Cartwheel discounts with REDcard savings, Target mobile coupons and manufacturer coupons. See Target's full coupon policy here:
The app won't work in my Target store!
If you're having trouble pulling up your barcode or the app in your Target store, and you're using wifi, make sure you're connected to our in-store guest wifi. You will need to accept the "Guest Wifi Terms & Conditions" in order to gain access to the wifi network. You may prompt this by attempting to visit a website in your mobile browser OTHER than Doing this should bring up the "Wifi Terms & Conditions" box that you'll need to check, which should solve any wifi network connectivity issues. Alternatively, you may also turn wifi off while shopping in store and use your cellular data network to successfully access the app (if you have a good wireless signal).
What if I didn't receive all of my Cartwheel discounts in my last transaction?
For any missed discounts, you may still receive your discount by visiting Guest Services at your local Target store with your receipt and the valid offers in your Cartwheel. The team member will then be able to manually apply the discounts. Additionally, you may also report any offers that were not discounted properly to our feedback forum at (Please note that adjustments may only be made in store and not online.)
If I prefer to print my barcode, do I have to print it every time I go to the store?
No, your barcode never changes. You can print it once, add and remove offers as you wish, and that same barcode can still be scanned to receive the latest discounts on your list. Just reference or the app to know what's on your list.

You can find your Cartwheel barcode in the "My Barcode" section in the iOS, "My Cartwheel" section in the Android app, or by clicking on "redeem in store" from the "My Cartwheel" page at
Can I redeem my Cartwheel at a self-checkout in the store?
Currently, our self-checkout machines are unable to scan barcodes. However, a team member can assist you in entering in your Cartwheel barcode number (located below your barcode image) at self-checkout.
Can I reuse Cartwheel offers?
Yes! You can use Cartwheel offers over and over until they expire. We do have a daily limit of 6 Cartwheel barcode scans, meaning you can receive the discount on everything on your Cartwheel list up to 6 times every day. Cartwheel offers are typically updated weekly, monthly and quarterly.
What are badges?
Badges are how you unlock more available spots on your Cartwheel list. For each badge you earn, you get one more spot to fill with savings. Tap locked badges located on the Badges page to read a hint on how to unlock. We're adding new badges all the time!
How do I merge my Facebook account and my email account into a single Cartwheel profile?

Can I use Cartwheel offers on
We are now testing the ability to use select Cartwheel offers on, as well as in store. These offers will be available from time to time as we continue to test this functionality. You can identify an online offer by seeing "Online" at the top of the offer card, or in the offer details. Online offers are only available on or version 1.6.1 or later of both the iOS and Android apps. You can redeem an online offer by first adding it to your barcode, then go to your list and click the "redeem online" button on web or tap the laptop icon at the bottom of your list screen in the app. Tapping or clicking will take you to, where your offer is automatically applied. Just add the preferred item to your cart and checkout. Your savings will be updated in your Cartwheel within 24 hours.
